Muskoke Creek Traditional Healer: David Tune

Thursday August 25, 2016 7:00 PM - Thursday August 25, 2016 7:00 PM

David Tune, of Navajo, Hopi and Muskoke Creek heritage, is a traditional healer in the Creek tradition.  He helps people using ancient songs, the teachings of his uncle Marcellus Bearheart Williams, and the gifts he was born with.  Mr. Tune will be talking about his history, his healing work and sharing stories from his very interesting life.

Mr. Tune is what is known as a "sucker and blower" in the healing tradition.  He sings to bring in unseen helpers, sucks out anything that is harming the individual and blows in health, healing, harmony and balance.

There is very limited seating that will be reserved for elders.   You are welcome to bring a pillow for seating on the floor.  Arrive early for the best seating.  There is no charge to attend this event, but donations for David will be accepted.

David will be treating people in Hayward from August 24th through September 6th.  If you would like an appointment to see him, please call Tracy at (510) 289-3045.  Appointments will be at 9:30am, 12:30pm and 3:30pm. House blessings will be at 6:30pm.
