Zuni Fetish Serpentine Corn Maiden by Nelson Yatsattie

Zuni Fetish Serpentine Corn Maiden by Nelson Yatsattie

The Zuni Pueblo people of northwest New Mexico are world renown for their creativity and skill in stone carving.  Zuni fetishes are used for specific purposes such as healing, protection, hunting and fishing. These carvings are a delight to the eye and heart.

Each carving comes with its own certificate of authenticity letting you know who the carver is and what materials are used to create these magnificent Zuni carvings.

Corn Maidens represent all that is good about being a woman: being loving, nurturing, kind, strong, and having great compassion. This lovely green serpentine Corn Maiden was carved by Zuni artist NelsonYatsattie.
